first let me vent for a second. i've never been around so many idiots in my life over these past few days. my brother and i were fishing offf of a point thursday evening about 50 feet off of a bank and had 3 different boats run in between us and the bank. they knew exactly what they were doing because they wouldn't even look at us while they were doing it. then friday morning i had a good conversation with a guy as i was running my jugs and let him know what we used for bait and the size of the fish that we have caught out of that cove. i come back that night to check mine and the guy is in that cove putting about 30 jugs out mixed in with my 15, i understand i dont own the water but you would think he would show a little bit of respect and let me fish the cove that i've been fishing for about 8 years now and was the first one to put my jugs in that day. all that set aside we were able to catch some crappie this week in about 20 feet of water fishing 12 foot deep with minnows. i also caught some bass fishing about 25 foot deep on points throwing a texas rig. i was able to catch two really nice ones. Both of which were released

Yes sir that's exactly where it was. I would understand if I was in the middle of the lake, but I was just a little more than a cast off of the bank.
I was setting out jugs a few weeks ago and after setting out 24 jugs me and the wife were slowly cruising up the line of jugs checking their spacing when a bay liner came around the bend and drove over every one of my jugs. If I would have had my pistol on me I'd be in jail right now. Rough is bad on the weekends.
I try to stay away from there on the weekends especially during the middle of the day it just killed me because everyone that I'm complaining about were fishermen. I've came to accept that the joy riders and jet skiers are going to go by you at quarter throttle and do doughnuts. It just blew my mind that ppl that know how bad it ***** for that to happen to you were the ones doing it.
I realy don't see how more people don't get hurt or killed on that lake more then they do . Rules and law doesn't mean much there and law enforcement won't do anything to any one unless your too drunk to drivea boat.
That lake is packed to the brim with complete idiots. I had a boat do doughnuts around me pulling a tuber while I was driving on memorial day. I don't see how ppl can be that careless.
