first let me vent for a second. i've never been around so many idiots in my life over these past few days. my brother and i were fishing offf of a point thursday evening about 50 feet off of a bank and had 3 different boats run in between us and the bank. they knew exactly what they were doing because they wouldn't even look at us while they were doing it. then friday morning i had a good conversation with a guy as i was running my jugs and let him know what we used for bait and the size of the fish that we have caught out of that cove. i come back that night to check mine and the guy is in that cove putting about 30 jugs out mixed in with my 15, i understand i dont own the water but you would think he would show a little bit of respect and let me fish the cove that i've been fishing for about 8 years now and was the first one to put my jugs in that day. all that set aside we were able to catch some crappie this week in about 20 feet of water fishing 12 foot deep with minnows. i also caught some bass fishing about 25 foot deep on points throwing a texas rig. i was able to catch two really nice ones.
