night bass fishing on Barren

how the night fishing on Barren? are the bass hitting?

didn't go out til 1am after the moon was rising. Only had 1 fish hit plastics. Got tired of that after about 3 hours and hugged the bank and caught 6 small fish on a crankbait casting parallel to the bank. Had 2 or 3 more hooked and 2 or 3 other fish swipe at it. I believe they were all small ones though. Caught 3 small ones on a buzz bait at daybreak. Had 3 nice keepers hit a topwater popping bait an hour or so after daylight but never hooked up. That was about it. My biggest fish was maybe 14". Maybe there's a better bite early in the night I don't know. Good luck!

Went Saturday. Can't believe all the boat traffic. I fish at night a lot and have never seen any thing like it. Caught several right at dark with jig and soft plastics and then it slowed down.
