Hit the water at 6:05 am sat. Only ones there. Put in at South lick fork. Didn't see the next boat pull in until 8:15 or so. 2nd cast bam, 4lber, 3rd cast 3.5 lber, 5th cast 3.5 lber. Went thu a couple of rain storms, but they kept biting. Boated 15 bass, 9 were keepers. Lost 6 on the way to the boat,and missed the hookset on at least 6 more. We left as the lightning was starting alittle before noon. The five best fish went for 15 or so lbs. All were caught on buzz baits. Was out of trailer hooks, might have landed the lost 6. Only had one other time we did this well on patoka, caught 22 over night, **** lightning chased us away that time too.

Sure glad that you didn't catch a fish on that first cast or otherwise it might have turned out differently . . .
