Onemorecast and I went to the river on 21 July 2012. That man out fished me again. He must have caught at least 30 to the one I caught.

We saw some bait skipping around the surface so I gave Onemorecast a sabiki rig I had. Wow. He was catching them 6 at a time. I figure he caught 30 of those little skip-jacks to the single 9lb striper I reeled in.

We were drift fishing and he left the sabiki rig in the water in an effort to keep the small skip-jacks alive. I warned him that a striper was going to gobble one up and take his rod in the water. Well, it almost happened. A striper hit the bait on the sabiki rig and almost took his rod overboard before the rig broke.
