So, now we're talking about Nixon......

Yea, I have read how much of a crook he was.......but he was a choirboy compared to TODAY'S standards of being a crook.

Also, his taxes were amended and he eventually paid over 400k in taxes for those questionable years.. He also paid over 70k the year before and for years after.

Back to Romney.

Romney paid 3.4 million in taxes on 20 million in investment income in 2010. He also gave 3 million to charity.
Romney "expected" to pay over 3 million on 20 million this year. He also gave nearly 4 million to charity. His taxes for this year have not been released....but this is from statements he or is campaign have released.

I don't know why Romney doesn't release more.........personally I don't CARE.

I agree... I could care less honestly... and don't get me wrong I'm not thrilled with Romney either but it seems like every election in the past decade has always been about the better of two evils. The fact is that politicans are all crooks in one way or another... and if you want to get really into it the political system is in so screwed up because of the party system itself. People really need to stop thinking of republican or democrate, liberal or conservative. Americans are so quick to allign themselves with a party that they forget about what is important to them! The main thing that is hurting this country is Americans have lost the ability to think for themselves... They simply allign them selves with a party and do whatever and believe whatever that party tells them two.
