Barren Summer Pattern

Where would be a good place to start looking for bass on Barren in the summer pattern? Just tryin to learn a little more about that place. Thanks!

Barren is extremely tough right now. More fish are being caught up the creeks and in the river than anywhere else. But generally when it gets tough like this you can catch fish in brush piles if you can find them. Barren has been really slow for about 3 weeks. I cant catch a keeper on the main lake to save myself.

Exactly what MKM said, the bite is extremely tough right now. I was in a tournament Saturday night and 12lbs. won it. Nobody else was even close. Most boats had one big fish (4.5-6lbs) and one slot. There was another tournament going on that night as well, and most boats had one big fish and one dink. I fished main lake points and some riprap and didn't catch a keeper.

We had just under 13 lbs Sat night. We had 8 keepers. 7 of them came before dark. But we had been on these fish for over a month.

Where in the world were you fishing? LOL. Those are some good numbers especially considering what I heard from most people.

18lbs won. It took 11lbs to get a check. Paid 10 places.
