Been fishing for the past couple of weeks before dark and fishing has been slow at best compared to past summers. Almost every bass has been fairly small. Started fishing a new pit the past couple of days but haven't caught any big bass yet. Caught a few bass this afternoon on a jig and yum crawdad and switched over to deep diving crankbaits and started trolling with my kayak. Ended up catching two sauger and both were decent fish. I only got a picture of the first and it was the smaller of the two.
