    Vp announcement tomorrow

Fox news announced Romney will announce running mate at 9 am est.
Drudge is claiming that a chartered plane from Boston is at Paul Ryans local airport and Romney will make the announcement from the USS Wisconsin.

I would be extremely satisfied with Ryan

It is Ryan, it's just a matter of announcing it.

I'm happy and kind of surprised that Romney didn't pick a "boring white guy." Ryan is young, energetic, and is not really the safe play. Prepare for Ryan's budget proposals that focus on entitlement reform and drastic spending cuts to take the forefront in debates. Team Obama will be on it like stink on crap over cutting domestic programs and being biased towards the wealthy. Medicare will be a hot button, as it usually is. Should make for some good debates.

I'm still not a huge Mitt fan, but I kind of like Ryan. It solidifies this as the ticket for smaller government, less spending, and economic growth. I'm on-board.

Yeah, cause the republicans would never do anything like that Actually wish both sides would cut the garbage out of the election and just focus on the issues.

Ryan is a great choice and actually UNDERSTANDS how business and managing a budget works. He is extremely intelligent and will school the Dems in debates. He is not for killing Medicare as many think, only to tweak and reform it. Government handouts will be the main issue, and he actually has a written honest to God plan, not Voodoo and notes on napkins like the other side.

He also hunts and fishes to...................Just sayin....

After claiming that Mitt killed a woman with cancer, I'm sure we will see Ryan chunking grandma over the cliff again. Now that was classic. What gets me is that people actually agree with that nonsense.

The Obama Camp and Democrats in general are going to fear-monger towards the fastest growing segment of the population- The seniors, as all the Baby Boomers enter the system. They will make it about Romney-Ryan wanting to push Grandma over a cliff. They will try to take the moral high ground, when in fact Obamacare strips funds from Medicare down the road too. Ryan's plan doesn't take anything from current seniors, but it reduces entitlements for younger folks that will enter later. This will be a key issue in Florida. (aka God's Waiting Room)

The only thing that concerns me about the Ryan pick is that it might push independents towards the left instead of the right. Romney has strengthened his stand with the right, but lets face it- he had that vote anyway. There's no doubt that this is a hard right versus hard left election now, so those folks in the middle are key.

    Buckle up!

Watching the Sunday morning talking head shows...already jumping all over Medicare and voting record in Congress...wasting no time. LOL

I guess I'm dumb, but what are we supposed to do about Medicare? Nothing, and just let it go broke? I love how they show polls of the American people that say Medicare is just fine the way it is. Well, yeah, other than that whole "it's going bankrupt" thing.

In my opinion the libs are getting played.
Romney certainly knew what the talking points would be when he chose Ryan. Im sure that Romney took into account Ryans positive approval numbers among seniors or that they supported Ryans budget over 0's.
I' m also positive Romney understands that indeps know that this country cant continue on the same path.
The kicker is that Obama doesnt have a plan and everything his admin has achieved so far has been a dismal failure. Enter Romney/Ryan with real plans on getting this country back on top.
I also think that 0's admin has squandered the moral high ground and if they continue with false ads like the "cancer" ad, or "granny" ad, they do so at their on peril.

    ROMNEY/RYAN 2012!!!!

Exactly. It's hard to discuss details when there are none.

That waste of air, Rachel Maddow, was on Meet the Press this morning and got challenged repeatedly to simply answer the question, yes or no, as to whether or not she supported Obama's stripping of $700 Million from Medicare funding over the next decade....she never would answer. All she would say is "I'm not running for President." However, she was quick to talk about how Ryan wants to destroy Medicare.

I'm certainly not a proponent of men slapping women...but I might give somebody a pass on Rachel Maddow. Mainly because she makes my skin crawl...but also because I can't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that there aint a twig and berries under that skirt.
