Anything more recent?
Lance's report was pretty accurate for last weekend. They were balled up first thing in the am, then broke up into smaller packs. That, or the ball moved on and we just found some smaller packs but I sat down right on top of large schools two days in a row and couldn't find them again. They were still relating to shore structure in, and out in front of pockets. Planer boards one day and planer boards and down lines the next.
Duayne,
Thanks, I do appreciate it. Taking some friends who are first timers and having been down to Cland for awhile.
I'm planning to be out in the dark in the AM's, head from J town to the area between Beaver and Indian, and as you say keep an eye out at the mouths of each little bay or cove.
I guess I'll do palners with a couple freelined about 20 foot back, and a couple at about 30 foot back with light sinker, and add to that a couple 40ft downpoles, and just see what happens.
Again, thanks, appreciate it.
