I absolutely agree with that. Redesigning the offense and defense from the ground up looks to be working. The offensive line I think looks strong in the first 2 games. Seeing Reggie Wayne work as a tight end and blocking is an example of some reinventing going on. The new guys on the defense do seem to be stepping up on the line, but the secondary still looks a little sketchy to me. I miss good ole Bobby Sanders, the flying demolition ball. He was the Colts version of a Steelers Troy Polamalu. I do think the Colts defensive line is standing up better than last year. And they have done a lot of changing from what they did last year, and it's showing.
Definitely a rebuild year, and it's going to be fun seeing what works and what doesn't. But totally agree, with Peyton gone, and the defense last year just plain weak, it was time to "send the team into the shop for a complete overhaul.
