And we are close to the front of the pack in efforts to protect the environment along with a good many other government mandated programs such as osha which if I can remember over the last decades were fought tooth and nail by big business with the republican party as their front line army... If not for government interference, big business would ruin out water ways, our forest and would decimate the middle class which includes a great many folks who work for a living and anybody who believes Mr. Romney cares about anybody in this country except the wealthy has his head stuck where the sun don't shine.
