THATS why they are the most fun fish to catch around here. Super aggressive and full of fight! Thanks for sharing!

No gobies around those beds for sure. My question to bass anglers is; Is it ethical to fish for those fish on the beds? Seems like they would be easy to catch, but would open up the eggs and fry to preditors. When fishing for steelhead some guys will yell at you for fishing for spawning fish if they think it will have an effect on reproduction.

I absolutely feel that the states should impose some kind of restrictions on anglers during the spawn. I'm not sure what exactly but I think we owe to these fine fish to let them spawn in peace... so they can raise a bunch a little smallies into big smallies for us to catch.

When fish spawn isnt there typically a male and a female guarding the nest? I dont know if its true or not though which if it was true this wouldnt leave the nest open to predators due to another fish being able to cover the bed. Dont know if this is the case or not but if it was then no restrictions would be needed due to the fact the eggs are never left alone so to speak. What do yall think?
