    RNC

Anybody watch the convention last nite?

Nikki Hailey was good, got off some good zingers. Pointed out the current administration sued SC over the non-union Boeing plant and lost. They are currently suing SC over their requirements for picture ID when voting. Seems to me you need a picture ID for most everything these days, why would anyone oppose it for something as important as voting?

Mrs. Romney was awesome. She got a bunch of standing O's.

Christie was pretty good, but too tame, and he talked too much about himself. Didn't once mention Mr. Obama by name.

Maybe tonight they will tear into Mr. Obama's reckless spending, total lack of leadership, socialist agenda, inept cabinet members, and 3 zillion far left czars.

I wouldn't look for them to get any tougher. I think the rinos are going to have their say.

they have it on to late for a working man, that has to get up at 4:30am but this little mishap didn't help with the black vote or the female vote either.http://gawker.com/5938737/report-bla...e-feed-animals

While it's painful to watch I decided to watch MSNBC and their broadcast of the RNC. It's a Pro Obama spot every time the hosts are speaking. Maddow, Mathews, Sharpton and some others just keep on beating the GOP down. BTW......Sharpton is one odd looking character!!!

Wonder if the coverage of the DNC will be as critical??? Hmmmm NOT!!!

So what did you guys think about Clint? I'm sorry but, no matter which side you support, watching that was just painful...

First, that little incident isn't even on the radar it's so insignificant. Second, I think you really underestimate the intelligence of the American voter if you think their vote would be altered by some drunk idiot at a GOP convention throwing peanuts at a camera woman. I'm not saying that they are rocket scientists, but they aren't that dumb.

I thought it was hard to watch and pretty "out there"....Before any kind of statement was released, I knew that he had went off script....no way the Romney camp would have approved that.

It's a shame, because a good powerful speech by Eastwood could have been a positive thing. This one was not.

Yeah it wasn't a yay moment for anyone. I still like his old movies and a few of his newer ones.

    LOVE his movies...

I'm not a huge proponent of movie stars and musicians that stick their noses into politics though. AKA Clooney, Bono, etc, etc, etc. I always just read it as using their popularity to pander to the public for votes. I guess the exception to that for me would be Reagan. That worked out pretty well.
