I would have to say Fall is my favorite season for fishing. You can throw just about any lure of your choice and catch fish.

Fall is my favorite as well. The pleasure boaters put the boat up for the winter. The hunters get off the water. Oh yeah the temps cooler too.

I like spring the best because it seems like everything has a new beginning. After going through the winter it seems like I am more pumped up and ready to go fishing,plus the big girls are ready to come out and play. Summer would be my second most favorite time to fish because it has been my experience that fish are more predictable. Fall would come in third even though it is a great time because fish are feeding up for the winter. My least favorite time to fish would be winter.

In my opinion you can't beat the fall. The fish are super aggressive feeding up for the winter. No jet skiers out on the water. No 100 degree days and you can just straight smack em that time of the year!!!! I'm just getting cold chills thinking about it!!!!

I like Spring for this reason as well. After the bare trees, cold weather and cloudy dreary days I enjoy the warmer weather, spring greenery and fish ready to blast lures! Fall would be second to me, summer third and Winter last.

I really enjoy the challenge of figuring out what I have to do to catch fish regardless of the season. I would have to rate the spring as my favorite, though, based solely on the availability of the big girls. I look forward to winter every year because I just LOVE FnF and jerkbait fishing. Summer would have to be my least favorite primarily because I sweat like a (insert favorite saying here), but then I did catch a 5-10 just a few days ago on a buzzbait. It's all good - you just gotta roll with the punches!

I love the smallmouth fishing in the fall. I'm also chomping at the bit for some Ohio River sauger!
