Not had a raise since 2007 but taxes, insurance and food have all risen quite a bit...plus the fact that my tow vehicles ain't getting any newer either. But above this..it also depends on where a man is at in his life, what was important to him at age 45 may not seem as important to him at age 50 so to speak...which also has a little bit to do with my decision to sell.

I gave up fishing because of medical problems when i was in my mid 50's (had a back problem and just couldn't spend any time in my boat), I kept the boat for a couple years then sold it and then had to have the surgery which went really well for me and after I retired I bought another boat and changed my fishing style, can't chase bass anymore but found out it wasn't the fish i was after so now I get to fish a couple times a week and enjoy it as much as I ever did.. I didn't get bitten by the economy so was fairly lucky there, I have found out it is as relaxing as it ever was, I wish you guys who have gotten in a financial pinch all the luck in the world and hope all works out well for you.
