As a former chicagoan, I'd like to add a comment. The federal government for years[republicans] tried to find some dirt on RJ Dailey, couldn't lay a glove on him. Another mayor Jane berne, the same thing. His son, was also in office for over 8 yrs, another bunch of federal money spent , no serious indictments.
