In this case, it was wild west ego and bravado and some wannabe cowboy opened up across the river on Ernesto T Bass chucking rocks. Dumb to use lethal force. Reprimandibly dumb.
Relax......it's just a joke! This story is hard to believe. Anyone who has been trained properly knows better plus common sense should have been used.....unless there is more to this story.
