Went out for a while monday evening water is still a little to warm(83.4) most area's some top water action 2 smallmouth 5 kentucky's . Saw 1 good jump looked like ky's. Wiith the cool night's water temp.'s should drop pretty fast by week-end should be better. Fished a jig for a while not much action couple pick-up's. Did get afew crappie on small jig with small grub on it. Fished out of Jamestown Marina area 1/3 of way back in to creek's . Hope this help's a little I usually fish this area 2-4 times a week. Don

Watch for jumps of Kentucky's. As the poster said the water temps are still to warm but this time of year the Spots start schooling and pushing threadfin to the surface. Fish can be caught on topwater but the better fish in these jumps will hang below. Smallmouth use Spots for a feeding banquet like this sometime..

Fish topwater early and late in day. Otherwise back off the points and drops and fish a shakeyhead, dropshot or jig. Deep cranks may get you some fish to.

    Good luck
