Neither does just doing what a person is supposed to do. That's what gets me, seeing people called heroes who only did what they SHOULD have done in a situation, like if they came across somebody who was hurt and helped them. I mean, I can understand how a person whose life was saved might think of them as their hero, but I don't think the rest of us need to call them that. Think of it, what was the other choice? To turn and walk away and leave the person there? What kind of person does that? And the problem with calling people who make the right choice "heroes" is that we make an excuse for other people not to. They can tell themselves, "I'm not that special, I'm not gonna be a hero, I"m not gonna get involved..."
