I'd like to get some of your ideas on night fishing. What are some of the products and techniques you use to make sure you dont let them get away when the sun sets?

A lot of guys use blacklights on their boats....and some will use the clip on cap lights on the bill of their hat so they can have easy access to light after dark
Alot of guys use black lights and flouresent line so they can see the bite. I just go by the feel of the bite myself. I do wear a cap with a light built in the bill. I like to use big dark lures at night and if the bite is slow, a shaky head will useally catch them. Most important make sure your running lights work because it can get dangerous on the lake after dark. Hope this helps and good luck and be safe.
black lights are real handy, as for bait anything dark in color. if your throwing a spinnerbait I'd lean toward a single Colorado blade, crankbaits dark also. Good Luck
Thank you for the quick responses! My reason for asking is I am working on a new technology that could possibly help when trolling, bank fishing or fishing at night. I will be able to tell you more about it in around 4 to 6 weeks from now. Im also thinking it could possibly be used in tournaments.
Can you please shed some more light on the subject.
I am working on a new technology that will be new to the fishing industry. I believe it may be helpfull. I should have something to show you in about 5 weeks. On another note -went fishing with my buddy and he caught this monster 12 pounder and all I caught was some ZZZZ's.![]()
i bank fish for cats on the kentucky river with a headlamp and bells. bells are funny for watching my buddy sleep then get a bite.
I normally use black lights and florecent line. One of my club members was fishing at Norris lake 4 weeks ago and got a ticket for not having his running lights on. He was 3 feet from shore getting his lure unstuck when the Dnr officer pulled up on him and questioned him about his lights. Since his trolling motor was down he was considered under way. So he wrote him a ticket for 300.00!
I used to sneak on golf courses when i first started fishing, all feel. Very easy. Now i have a boat and a blacklight. Hahaha.
