Can anyone tell me the water temp and if the crappie are biting at Green River????

I'd heard they were catching them pretty good 2 or 3 weeks ago, but I haven't been out in a few weeks and can't provide ya with much detailed info

hey went down again this past weekend 15&16 and did very good again .been taking dad [72] crappie fishing for a few years now bout4 and never even came close to a limit, but that all changed sat.by 1;00 we was done.60 keepers.they was BITTIN.went sun and of course it slowed way down did get 28,so a good day.not very deep ,found them on the banks,not bluffs but slopping broken rock banks .really didnt find much on the flats.and they wanted minners,i tried several different jigs and didnt get many at all.

Wish I'd read this thread before I went out there today....Crappie fished bluffs for awhile and never caught a fish....So we started bass fishing and wound up with a decent limit
