Peter said I was allowed to brag here, so since he agreed to indulge me, here it is. I know there are a lot of Dale Hollow fans on here. Today I signed a deal with Whitefish Press to author two books. The first one, tentatively scheduled for release in the fall of 2013 will be on the history of Dale Hollow Lake, the legendary fish and the anglers who made their mark on this lake. The second book dovetails with the first and will be a biography on the life of Billy Westmorland.

Thanks everyone. I admit I am a little nervous because I have not tackled a project this big, but I am also excited. I have probably published over 1000 magazine articles in various markets over the years, but having books, something that my grandson can someday show his grandchildren, is really cool.
