Man that's got to hurt. Hoping your wife has a quick and full recovery. I to know about having to do it all. My wife had to go to Texas and take care of her very ill mother. She was gone for over a month. I had three small kids all in sports at the time. I would take my girls to softball practice and kick them out of the car and make a made dash for my boys T-ball practice. I tell you what, I couldn't wait for her to get back. I will never forget her getting off the plane and took one look at us and started crying. She was as glad to see us as we were to see her. I will say I can cook pretty good now. Still hate cleaning the house though.

I'm not up much to "cleaning" the house. I'll straighten and put things back where they belong but actual dusting and scrubbing, ugh.

Our front outside porch has some great cobwebs right now. They look like we put them there for Halloween decorations. I'll just let Mother Nature take care of decorating for the holidays.

I outdid myself for breakfast today. I diced up two pieces of thick sliced bacon and put them in the cast iron skillet. While the bacon was cooking I then diced up some green pepper, hot pepper, onions, and some deli ham. Threw that mixture into the skillet and then whisked up four eggs and poured that in. More of a scrambled egg dish than an omelet but we both cleaned our plates. Served it to Mrs.Tyme in the living room so she could watch her TV programs. Also served her some orange juice and toast.

Tyme, rule me out if the bumper sticker deal has to happen. My Ford truck has been in the shop 4 times in 2 weeks already, and I don't want to have to keep going back to have rock busted windows repaired.

    I support the Woodruff Amendment!

PS: "democratic party headquarters and get some Obama stickers ". ??????? I thought they came from Dollar General Store or Big Lots?????????

Hurricanebob: No worries ,brother. I like to tell jokes but I don't do practical jokes. I knew I'd get a rise from you guys with anything concerning Obama.

I've got a small TV out in the boat barn and we can sit out there and relax, drink some Woodford, and I'll probably puff on a cigar. I've got a lot of non-used fishing/boating items in the boat barn so maybe I can host an auction/boat-barn sale. Heck, the Woodford will eventually addle my brain and I'll just give the stuff away.

    hahahahahahaha.

Actually most Democrats secretly hate the SOB too........They just "act" like they like Obama. They are too embarrassed to admit to supporting such a whackjob.

    Later,

here's wishing your wife the best. hope she heals fast. and here is a true story about ones spouse, caring for them while they're sick. ....I worked with this guy, and he said a few years before he had a job driving a coal truck, and they had to climb up on top and tarp the load he was hauling, and he fell off the top of the truck and broke both ankles and arms at the same time. he told me he was at his wife's mercy. he said she had to do it all for him. he told me it stripped him of all the pride he ever had.

Todays lunch was a hot ham and cheese sandwich. Plus I've taken the dog out 3 times today. The dog is a little confused with Mrs. Tyme using the walker. He doesn't quite know what to make of it.

Well, it's off to a funeral visitation this afternoon/evening. A very close friend of mine had his mother suddenly pass away. I'm going to give him what support and condolences that I can.
