One other thing, if anyone has any other ideas for a Wounded Warrior trip I'd love to hear it.

Anyone that knows Dave, could you tell him I sent him a pm? We're thinking about putting together a Kentucky Wounded Warriors trip to Ky Lake and I'm looking for some advice. We're affiliated with the national WW Project, but our focus is on taking care of our own.
Anyone else that would be interested in helping out with some advice feel free to contact me. pm or email [email protected]
Not ready to make a plan yet, I don't know the area at all and I just want to talk to someone about how we might do it.
Heads up though...if we can make it work, we'll be asking for some volunteers to take our heroes fishing. We just did a Lake Erie trip, and it was just awesome. We had all local volunteer boaters and they had just as great a time as the Wounded Warriors did. We actually had to turn volunteers away because we had too many boats. No pressure...but if the buckeyes can turn out like that, surely a bunch of Kentuckians can do better!

You might also want to post this on smalljaw.com. Some of those guys did an event at Dale Hollow a few months back. I attended and wrote a magazine article about it and it was really cool to be around those guys. The fellowship was impressive and talking to these real heroes was worth the trip. Anyway, some of those guys on there could help with some advice.
Just got back from my annual get together with ol miltary buddies...just got the message...will call you this evening or tomorrow.
Dave
