Teams prepare differently for more experienced teams they face....That being said, I hope WVU or my Longhorns get pared up with your Cards in a Bowl game...then we will see how the chips fall my good sir.....
They are the same team as last year and so is Louisville. The difference is Louisville has more starters returning this year than did WVU. We basically went to Morgantown with a bunch of true freshmen and beat them on their home field. The same team is a year older with a year of starting under there belts. Add in the fact that WVU would have been coming to PJCS this season, I think you could chalk it up as a loss.

Do you suddenly think WVU improved just by joining the Big 12? How? The only thing that has changed with WVU is perception because they changed conferences. Not facts, not personnel, only perception, which shows how little fans actually can pay attention to.

Srry to disagree with you, but WVU, with Geno Smith's coming of age so to speak is a way different ball team than they were last year....Averaging 5 td's so far and ZERO interceptions......

Plus as you say U of L is still the same team they were last year indeed....It can be seen on the field of play, only exception they are winning the close games this year vs last year...For a 5-0 team, they sure are playing awful ugly and if their not careful...Rutgers or Uconn is gonna steal the Big East Title this year.....

You just proved all you know about college football. Geno Smith has not come of age, he is just a year older. So is Bridgewater and the Louisville Sophomores. The only thing you have seen on the field is the Cards taking their foot off the gas in a game and then playing in hurricane conditions on the road two weeks in a row.

UConn? UConn will not finish in the top 4 in the Big East. Pitt and Rutgers both on the road are the only two games that scare me in conference.

They hype is all about Gerno being in the Big 12, it has nothing to do with actual improvement. Like I said before, it is all about perception.

BTW, how did Geno and the 'eers look yesterday? LOL I only wish we could play the shorthorns in a bowl game, but they may not make a bowl game this year!

Great offense went against a better defense yesterday...WVU's defense is mediocre at best and it's been proven by them giving up so many points so far this year.....

But I sure hope your Cards do wind up playing my Longhorns in a bowl game...then we can show who has the braggin rights for sure this year.......

I do believe Rutgers is gonna have the Cards number at the end of the season...Their defense is looking quite awesome so far, but then again...the Cards D, ain't been too shabby until this week against Pitt.....

All gonna boil down to who wins that last game of the year looks like for the Knights and Cards if they both stay unbeaten, but Cinn. might also have something to say about the outcome of the Big East Champ as well.....Can't count them out either........nice win over Pitt., thought Pitt was gonna put the knock out on ya's but they didn't produce in the 2nd half like your cards did......Perry had one heck of a game on the ground...Your life saver for sure......

OWNED, and I mean OWNED! The Mountianqueers got stomped, the mighty Longsteers got run off the field and poor ole pitaful over rated Louisville won at #14 Pitt. Man that Texas Tech, ''Football Perrenial Powerhouse'', lol, lambasted the West Virginia rednecks like they stole something.

Dude, stop why your ahead, this thread is hammering you, LOL...

    1. Texas Tech is better than advertised. Defense is inflated by bad nonconference schedule but still good. They'll be an 8 win team.
    2. Geno Smith is still good. Still hasn't thrown an interception all year. Was harrassed by Tech constantly. Bad game.
    3. Pitt is not ranked 14th, but U of L's win there was just as impressive nonetheless, considering they had lost 3 or 4 in a row in the series.
    4. Texas was pitiful. No excuse for them.
    5. The curse of Scam Newton at Auburn is for real.
    6. I was wrong about Florida being the overrated SEC team. It was Arkansas sorry about that.

Well I guess ESPN had it wrong then the other day. Because unless I'm blind during game day they had Pitt ranked as 14 on the screen. I am old maybe even senile but I can still read. No they aren't ranked 14 now, lol..

Maybe it was 24th, I was trying to watch it while getting gear together for the boat. Man I thought sure it said 14th on the screen though. How do you drum up last weeks rankings?
Told you I was senile, lol..
