going down on friday , taking my father , he doesnt get out much so i am wanting to catch a lot of fish of any kind. any help would be great.

I was down there on Tuesday. Water temps were 66 in the morning to just over 70 when I left. Shad were schooling at the mouths of the pockets but found fishing still slow. I caught several white bass while throwing crankbaits in Dog Creek.They were on the shallower side of Dog (the right side) coming in from the main lake not the rocky left side where the channel is. Once you get there you will see the balls of shad.

you might want to try main lake coves, i'd pick the ones the wind is blowing toward, try small
c.b..s spinnerbaits and maybe a shakeyhead.
