Don, thanks for coming on here and risking your man card so you could share with us.
My tastes are very similar to yours, but some years ago the wife made me go to a modernized version of "The Taming of the Shrew" and it was a lot of fun. Since then we've gone to quite a few, including a couple put on by the local high schoolers. Bowling Green High did a good job with "Fiddler on the Roof", they had kid that did Rev Tevya almost as good as the guy in the musical from the 70's. Still sing "If I were a Rich Man" in the shower every now and then.
Something about a live play that even a poorly educated hick like myself can appreciate. Plus it scores me 'lucky' points with the better half.
