I have seen that in Vegas and its GREAT! I am going to Actors Theatre today to see Dracula. Hope it is good!Well my girlfriend dragged me to this show last night in downtown Lexington for what I thought was going to be BORING!! Man was I wrong, that was one heck of a show! The first part was a little slow but I was still in my denial mode of not liking anything that doesn't involve trucks, boats, fishing, hunting, blood, violence, fighting, smash mouth MMA, football or guns.
The ability of these singers blew me away and once I was sucked into the story I was hooked. The singing had me heart and soul. There were funny parts sad parts and parts that made you look inside your self when dealing with the masks we all wear (hahaha to deep?) The second part was the best since I was into it 100% by then. Fantastic story and terrific cast. Ill go again one day for sure. If you haven't seen it do yourself a favor and take your loved one for a wonderful night out. The only thing I will say is have an open mind and enjoy the Acting, singing and story for these people have worked a lot to pull this off. The range of their vocals was amazing!!
Don, you have nothing at all to worry about in regards to your man card. You are a man in all areas and are confident in that as well as totally HOT!! I absolutely hated opera until I saw the Phantam of the Opera in Toronto. I went with my mother years ago cuz she needed someone to go with. I dreaded it but was totally blown away by the music and the singing. To be honest I really cant understand what they are saying but man the story is very easy to follow. I loved it so much I bought the cd for my car and listened to it all the time I drove to work and back. I would love to see it again. A very powerful show in my opinion.![]()
Thank you Margie.
I have the music from the show being copied as we speak.
