    NASA makes critical error!!!

Nasa made a critical error this week by using a Toyota Tundra to tow a space shuttle to display location.

It does not take a rocket scientist to know that either the Chevy Silverado or the Ford F150 would have been the better choice.

    Maximum towing capacities:

    Toyota Tundra- 8,100 lbs,

    Chevy Silverado 1500- 10,700 lbs

    Ford F150- 11,300 lbs.

I wonder how much was paid out to use that truck?? This decision was not made based on best fit but by highest bidder!!

I'm sure they paid big $$ for that. And of course they filmed it all for use in a commercial. They even had a couple of their guys pretend to inspect the towing mechanism used to couple the truck to the Endeavor.

I watched the news last night, and they were moving it with remote controlled wheels, that would move in any direction. and wasn't using any truck at all as far as I could see. moving at a rate of about 2mph.

For about a 100 yard stretch while they crossed a freeway overpass they couldn't use that heavy rig to pull it:
