    Multi use rod question

So I'm getting a new rod. It's a falcon Carolina lizard dragger. I've had this rod before and I absolutely loved it. I'm getting it to throw a jig and c-rig. I finally broke down and bought a A-rig this week and I'm wondering if this rod will handle it ok? It's a heavy action 7 ft rod. Thanks in advance for the help.

It's going to be very underpowered and you stand a chance of snapping the tip...I wouldn't think that rod would be rated for more than 1oz and most of your A Rigs will weigh 2-3ozs minimum....It COULD work in a pinch, but I wouldnt want to throw it on it all day...Not only do you run the chance of breaking the rod, but it's going to wear you out quick with that small of a rod

So does anyone know of a rod that I could use all 3 of those things on for around $150?

You might actually be able to pick up a couple different rods that might serve you better....On bassboatcentral I've seen rods like the Veritas and such go for around $75 for your rigs and jigs and I picked up an Okuma swimbait rod just for the A Rig for about $80....I threw the A Rig on a 7'4H Cumara last year and it was more than the rod wanted....Keep close tabs on the rods for sale section on bassboatcentral and you might be able to pick up a good deal or two and keep you within your budget
