Where does the hate stop? A very good question.

When was the last time that you read or heard of a Catholic,Protestant,Hindu,or Jew strapping explosives to their body and killing innocent bystanders for the sole reason that their faith was different?

This grand U.S.A. has always tolerated different faiths and beliefs. Yes, it irks me when the Seventh Day Adventist disturbs my day by knocking on my door. I politely and if need be forcibly inform them that I am a saved and baptized Presbyterian and "No thank you" please leave my property.

Compare that with the radical Muslims that will will kill you if you do not accept their faith.

Cat can sing and preach his faith but I will not listen to his words.

Don't really think you want to go there. Just think about how many wars have been waged, peopled killed and families destroyed in the name of their God.

Religion seems to be more of a disease than it does a salvation.

And can we get an AMEN here?

Amen..X2 (seem to recall, it means "so be it", but could be wrong)

Only if one has a blind spot large enough to obscure the vast majority of the picture.

Absolutely, there have been atrocities committed in the name of God in the 2000+ years of Christianity. But that ignores the overwhelming weight of the good done by Christians, and speaks to the corrupted nature of man, not Christianity. Around the world today, it is largely Christians who are feeding the hungry and taking care of those unable to take care of themselves.

I agree christianity has been the catalyst for untold help for those in need world wide but I'm not sure faith in a higher power is the reason for that... Christianity is just one leg of the religious world and don't know if I can put my finger on the same kinds of things from the muslim world or the several other religions on the planet... Personally I believe the good people do comes from their compassion rather than from their faith... Over the lifetime of religion since it's inception, The good that has been done by the religious world would pale in comparison to the atrocities committed in the name of their respective gods.

I wish the best to the peaceful folks of the middle east that just want to live and enjoy live.

I propose the 3 click approach to those that hate or try to kill Americans.

    Click (Safety off)
    Click (Magazine in)
    Click (Trigger pull)

    BOOM: ..........

Follow-up question: Now that I have assisted, can you see Allah now? No thanks needed, just so glad to help.

Really, all kidding aside, as much as we deplore it, when all logic and diplomacy fails, there is only the justice of overwhelming force that brings security. A theory says 'FEAR" is the greatest of all motivators. And I think it can cause a rational man to reconsider his proposed actions. And I think it can stop cold a man with irrational desires.

Example: Criminals that have experienced the death sentence, do not appear on repeat offender listings. Only those jailed and released have that option available. Bin Laden no longer signs attack orders.

    Reduce the options......increase security.

To hell with Mitt or Barack: Bob for president. Sorry Bob but the clip is inserted first with the safety on. Insert clip, load round,
turn safety off, fire. Other than that you're right on.

Now I know why most of my hunting boots have a hole in the toe. I thought it was to let my toes breathe :-)
