    Winning the pennant after being three up! I only thought the cubs could do that.The lions really came to play defense last night, wonder if cutler is OK after that hit.

    that might explain

    St Louis lost a 3 game lead and the pennant. Cinncinati also lost out. That div in the NL had two teams that lost 100 games,The Pirates lost 83. So when the reds and the birds played real ball teams, what did they expect?

    The Reds had a .602 percentage in non-division play, not that much different than their record within their division of .620.
