white bass/hybrid in dix river head water or not in fall?

I fish the main lake a lot. I find this time of year the shad are well dispersed. I would expect it to be the same up in the headwaters of the Dix. Should be better upstream than in the main lake. let's us know what you find.

Thanks a lot for the info. The weather was not cooperative last two weekends. We did not go and try in Dix River. Now it seems a little too late. We will try next fall.
