Rough being dropped next summer?

have a friend with a place at Rough who told me they are dropping the lake down next summer for some kind of repairs. anyone heard about this?

I haven't heard of dropping the lake next summer. But I do know that they will not start winter draw down until they fix the stilling basin wall on the dam! Which should be around the end of November. But could take longer.

This is what has been posted so far. Plans are for repair work to be done only during the winter draw down.
Rough River Lake
Summer pool will not be effected in 2013 (now keep in mind we can not control the weather) We also do not anticipate any impact during the preventative maintenance on the dam. All we need to make this happen is mother nature to cooperate. We do not need another year like this one or a year like 2011.
