    Old age and the results

I'm becoming senile: This morning when I launched the boat, I remembered just in time that I forgot to unhook my stern tie down straps. At least I remembered before I attempted to float the boat. No big deal. Once home and the boat parked in the barn, I made a shopping list for some items we needed from the grocery store. OK, I've got my old man reading glasses in case I need to read a label or whatever. I've got the shopping list and a pen to cross out the items once I've found them. I get almost half way to the store ( 7 miles or so) when it dawned on me that I didn't have my wallet in my back pocket. DOH !!! This getting old isn't for sissies!!

Aww,it's not that bad caveman. You know you laugh a whole lot more than you used too. I do **** everyday I would have been pissed about years ago, now I just chuckle about how I wasted my youth being pissed at myself.

Ask me why forgetting one's bifold is a sign of enjoying life !

I never put myself in the oldtimers club until a few months age when baked potatoes was on the menu and I got the oven all heated up, wrapped them up in aluminum foil, put them in the oven and went on with my day only to discover two hours later when I had the ribs all bbq'ed and ready that I had put the taters in the fridge... Ain't got a lot of use for nuked potatoes but was thankful for the microwave that day... Only bright side I have found is it is easier to laugh at yourself than it used to be.

Smile The best is yet to come!

Wallets left behind, common. walk out to the car, and find the keys are ar home, forgetting shopping lists isn't bad, when you consider you forgot to put your every day glasses on and are wearing your readers, and the biggest thing I've noticed several times in the past year, my fly was open! And I'm only 76
