40 degree difference in weather DEFINITELY has some effect on the fishies.

Man, talk about a brutal day today.

KY Lake...............serious wind, serious waves, serious rain, serious cool down.

We arrived at the ramp at 6:00am and fished it hard for 6 hours, but Man oh Man. It STUNK.

I did managed to stick 2 on a crankbait, but those were tough. Dave also stuck a drum on a red eye.

I'm hoping to figure something out to do tomorrow.

    Later,

    Geo

Man I sure hope you have better luck than I did last Saturday, It was very tough for me....I ended up with 7 or 8, but only managed one keeper fish all day.

All but one came on a drop shot, but I just couldn't get them to hit anything else.

Let us know how you do.

taylorsville on 10-25 for what its worth

First trip out since back surgery 8 weeks ago so only fished for 3 hours -got sore. 9 bites, caught 6, lost a pretty decent one. all on a BPS Avacado color tube I found in rod box, I usually use a Venom roadkill Tube or Jig at T ville but Old man forgot to grab my jig& tube box ( I leave my boat in his garage and he brought it up here). all bites were on wood, no bites deep where I normally do pretty decent. report isnt much with the front screamin thru but its a report.

Just to clarify...the Dave in your report was not me. I do not go out in that kind of weather on these lakes. Hope your bite gets better today...watch the wind is going to blow again, worse than yesterday...and again I will not be out there.

Yep........I try to be safe............When it is ugly, I lock into a bay and stay put. It was brutal, which is why we pulled off at noon and never made it back out.
