i'm not understanding the oil pump bulb in the fuel line, did you work on the bulb for the oil, usually right at the oil tank,or was it the fuel primer bulb?sometime if you get excessive smoke it means you have air getting in the fuel system,or a bad pulse limiter.also i think your motor uses the enrichener choke system, check to make sure it did not get bumped to the manual choke position.it should be pointing to the bottom of the primer solenoid.make sure there are no "seeps" at the line fittings.if they are zip tied they are notorious for this over time.just throwing ideas.

It was the bulb on the oil line near the oil tank. Replacing that line including the bulb fixed the alarm. The part of the bulb where the line fits on was cracked.i'm not understanding the oil pump bulb in the fuel line, did you work on the bulb for the oil, usually right at the oil tank,or was it the fuel primer bulb?sometime if you get excessive smoke it means you have air getting in the fuel system,or a bad pulse limiter.also i think your motor uses the enrichener choke system, check to make sure it did not get bumped to the manual choke position.it should be pointing to the bottom of the primer solenoid.make sure there are no "seeps" at the line fittings.if they are zip tied they are notorious for this over time.just throwing ideas.
If there is air getting in the fuel causing the smoke using the vro wouldn't that affect performance after removing the vro and mixing gas? Runs great manually mixing .
Thanks I'll check the choke position and look for leaks.
Thanks
