Anybody been recently to have a report? Im looking fro crappie and bass. And a friend wants to catfish. Any help will be appreciated.

Bass were in backs of creeks Sunday feeding on shad. Good luck.

Saw some bass anglers catching a few back in jacks creek look for schooling shad as well as any shallow flats. Crappie fishing was ok fishing off structure in the 12-15 ft range but they were holding tight to coverage so vertical jigging was my best method. I would average 8-10 keepers most days. Ive heard people have been catching them between chowning and van buren using the same methods but finding good structure is key. Also wouldnt hurt to try the old rock quarry by goodnight bridge on the river fishing with minnows. This was before the nasty cold front blew in so good luck, Kingfisher.

Bass fished there Sunday. Most came of off points or back in the creeks. Caught most on crankbaits and a few of soft plastics. Had a decent day.
