Anyone know anything about Little River Lodge on Barkley?

Planning on staying there soon. Any info would be appreciated. For example, is there a boat ramp there or would I have to drive to one? Are the rooms clean? Thank you.

    Lodge

I have stayed at the State Park Lodge on Little River. Its a little pricey if your staying just too fish unless you get a gov. discount. Close to $100 a night. The rooms are nice and they overlook the water. My boat did not stay as close to me as I would like. And finding parking for your rig can be tough if you get in late. I here they have good food but is high as well. There is a nice Boat Ramp right there. Little River is a good place to fish and if its windy you can some what hide from it. Just pay attention to your electronics and the Buoys since the water is down.

If your just going to fish and not stay in the room much I would recomend Knights Inn or Super 8 in Cadiz. You can get a room for $60 or less.

Thanks for the info. I can get the government rate on the room, $42/night plus tax. Just didn't know anything else about the place. I don't remember ever being in that area.

Man, THAT is a great rate.......beats most tourney rates, and negotiated rates around the area.

    Cannot beat it.............

Nice place to stay. Hard to park your boat in the lodge parking lot however.

You can rent a slip but you must have a crazy amount of insurance policy on it in order to do so. The ramp is nice however.

Ditto on the fishing in Little River. It is pretty good. We went a few years back and crappie and catfished and did well.
