How deep to you set your hydroglow? Do you bring it up over time to get bait closer to surface? Assume you need a calm night - you don't toss an anchor do you?

    lights

I have fixed submerged green LED lights on the back of my boat (not cheap but cool) and it brings them up quick so I doubt the depth of the light is very important. Turn them on and they come running.
Head of Beaver has a lot of shad as well, along with head of Wolf Creek if you are putting in different ramps.

Fished on Saturday morning and could not find any stripers anybody do any good? Found plenty of bait but no stripers.
Drove all over the lake from Jameston to Conley, to head of Wolfe Creek to head of Beaver to head of Greasey and did not see a single jump.

Been putting light about 10-12 feet under this fall. Not really really sure where it is supposed to go though...near the surface or down real deep...or bring if up from down deep before throwing. I have pulled it up over time but I guess the best thing would be to experiment and watch the results on the graph when time is not problem.

I have used it on windy nights no problem, you just can't see the bait with your eyes.

Yes I anchor.. just seems easier over all, especially in 40 feet of water or more.
