I hope thats what it takes to turn the fish on. Wish me luck!
Definitely good luck bro..........I hope they try to move back into the creeks. I don't know.

We could not catch them anywhere we wanted to, and the wind/weather made it tough in my PT190 Tracker.

We still made a trip of it and the guys I went with are great friends.

I will still do trips this time of year. Hopefully I get on them next spring as I hardly fished the spring last year.

    Time will tell.

    Nov 8-9th

Was down there for a tourney, no numbers of any consequence north of Paris, the big bags came south of Paris between the power lines and the old RR trestle in the grass beds, primarily on Sammy's and spinnerbaits. Predominant pattern with the spinner baits seemed to be at the start of the grass bed and the end, just small stuff in-between. Bigger fish though came further south but they were spotty at best. No problem getting 18# a day in the grass, not sure if this is gonna hold up though. Prior to the tourney days, fish were on big time on buzz baits, Sammy's, twitch worms, buzz tail shad, etc. Winds had an affect on the waters north of paris, what was left of any grass (dead brown) from the Paris bridge to the 68 bridge was blown out. Lakes aren't far from winter pool as you can see a bunch of foundations now where you may not have suspected them before (if you're not used to the Fall period). It's a real shame that Navionics paper maps, the "yellow series" doesn't have a map from Paris south, I have a couple of GPS type maps but they're too small for these "old eyes" to see real well and there's hardly anywhere to write on them anyway :-) May be looking at the last hurrah the next two weekends, depending on the weather of course, as if we get some warm weather it should keep the bite on for awhile anyway.

I highly suggest you check out the maps made by Atlantic Mapping Company. I bought one of KY Lake North, and it is truly amazing...every other map I have come across are garbage compared to these. I think I payed 8 bucks for it.

I'm not affiliated with them in any way, just wanted to pass on the knowledge about them. I had never heard of them until I talked with Dave Stewart. They are very, very good maps.
