And I heard 5000 KY-ites signed a petition to do so. Duh!

If KY becomes it's own country, we'll need a passport to get to BassPro in either TN or IN.
IF I am in the Country now called KY, and not part of the US, well, the US doesn't pay folks from foreign countries Social Security. I guess KY is gonna pay me back for all that?
KYARNG would be our "national defense" force, and with no federal funding we'll all get to pay for ALL of that.

Will KY's new National Navy be comprised of Bass Boats and Steam Boats, with Towboats as their "Navy Reserve"?

I want no part of it, and if KY becomes it's own country, I'm going to reside in the United States......or Canada.

PS: Don't we all know this is nothing more than a lame way of telling Obama we don't like him much?

    1. BASS PRO SHOPS ***** in either Tn. or Ky.. Plenty out there about anti-coal stance and wal-mart carries more U.S. products

    2. Noone is gonna pay you social security, it's busted, over. I hope you are aware that the funds you paid in were spent/ abused a long time ago. Last i heard [before obamanamics] it was a 3/1, probably closer to 1.75/1 now. President George W. Bush tried to prevent this but the pinko liberals and spineless republicans were concerned with buying the next election.

    3. Who's gonna invade Ky? Really

    4. I'm positive Ky will forfeit the ohio river, but we will take Cumberland handily.

    5. Well bye

    6. You took the trolls bait first, of course it's only in show. I wouldn't call it lame though.

Why do so many people see a monster under the bed as far as social security going bankrupt, social security is not going to go down the tubes unless it is replaced with something to fill the gap... We cannot maintain what we consider a civilized country with so many of it's citizens dieing in the streets... Social security has had problems in the past and will continue to do so but it's history shows there are ways to keep it solvent, the ceiling has been raised a few times and if all else fails it will be raised again... Is there some reason hard liners are all gloom and doom about every issues that comes down the pike... Mr. Obama is our president, live with it for the next four years.

I agree I don't see Social Security going away. It might get altered like before but will survive. Think about this....the political party who is in charge if and when SS goes down is done for years and years which is why it will never fail.
Another good indicator of why its safe is no politician talks about it. Once they start talking about it then something will happen, good or bad.
If Obamacare can be passed and IMO was the first step in damaging a Healthcare system that was the best in the world then taxing more for social security funds is easy. Heck it might be in the law we just don't know it yet!!!

I tend to agree with you about the new healthcare system, only time will tell, I don't believe the healthcare system we had was turning bleeding folks out in the street and I'm not sure we can afford to keep everybody going to the doctor on a regular basis... I know kids that go to the emergency room if they get a runny nosy just because they have a medical card, My kids went to the doctor when they got sick but not with every cough because I had to pay for it, we can give too much.

Bob, shame on you, 20 lashes with a wet herring for failing to preface your post with a "WARNING: SATIRE BELOW" label.

Man ....you saw right thru me.

I thru that top water buzzbait out there, and TIME took it right off the bat. And thanks for your assist by setting the hook.

    TIME....congrats....you're now a trophy dude!

Besides, logically, if I ever move to Canada, I'd need a passport to fish Cumberland. It's hard enough for me to find my fishing license before a trip.

Grandparents owned farms on both sides of river, gubment ran them off or flooded them out. I recall well my grandfathers stories of redhorse and walleye fishing as a kid. Sometimes i think that dam is plagued

I personally grew up fishin Cumberland with my grandpa, dad, and uncles. Never heard of the ohio navy, but know plenty about the buckeye navy and even the BFOs.

Another thing, i didn't completely just lose all control and slam that buzzbait Bob. I dropped plenty of hints myself
