Hey guys I was down fishing the Ohio last Saturday and was told I need a fishing license to fish I'm 14. He said that if they catch me me they will take all my stuff and I have way to much stuff for it to be taken by them. How old do you have to be to need a license in the state of Indiana I fish at the falls of the Ohio and George Rogers Clark boat ramps thanks

Your encounter reeks of suspicion! I recommend you talk to your parent / guardian first of all. I know that may not be the coolest thing to do, but in this case I would. Also, Please take their advise.

You live in the state of Kentucky and are not required to have a fishing license if you are 15 and younger (17 and younger if you live in Indiana) and you are allowed to fish on the IN banks of the Ohio river.
Was this person an officer in uniform? Like Benjo said, tell your parents. There can be some shady characters near the river sometimes. Be safe and try to take an adult with you.
