I agree the trillions on wars have taken a toll. Some we could not avoid (Afganistan) one we may have avoided (Iraq) but more than likely we would have had to deal with anyway over time. So The Iraq war probably would have had to have been fought one time or another.
This brings us to the point I want to make. We have fought two wars at a cost of trillions of $$$$. Yet none in this country want to make any sacrafice or endure the slightest inconvienence to fight these wars or help the good ole USA.
In WWII just about everything was rationed from gas to shoes, bread, beef, etc. Factories were converted for war production. Today we want to win the war on terror and keep our country safe as long as we get a tax break doing it, as long as it does not cause an incovienece.
Corporate money in politics is there to promote the "world economy". Pushing US jobs offshore. They could care less if they are based in Denver or Bali as long as they maximize profits. The Bad part is that they use the US infastucture and enjoy our security as much or more than anyone yet they don't want to contribute. If you or I get robbed $500.00 the local police file a report that gets burried, if a bank gets robbed the FBI comes in and catches the robber and sends hime to prison. Bank robbery is federal offense no matter how much $ is involved. The FBI solves bank robery of a rate around 98%.
So Just saying there is coporate welfare and there is social welfare. Abuse of either needs to stop.
So the comment that "birth control was a gift to young women" from Obama for their vote is just one sided. Birth control only benifits "young women"??? What about the other half of that equation..takes two you know.
