Dog Breed Question

We got a little dog from a friend. She's 7 years old, previous owner has no idea what breed, but she's small, 25 pounds, and when we got her I thought she looked like a tiny pit bull because she's brindle colored. I'd post a picture but she's so dark it's hard to get a good one. Anyway when we took her to the vet he said she looked like a Jack Russell, and she definitely does act like one. And she's got a Jack Russell head and tail, but I say she's built more like a pit bull, and besides, she's BRINDLE, and I don't think there's any such thing as a brindle Jack Russell, is there? I think she's most likely some kind of jack russell/pit bull mix.

I don't really care, we love having her. Name's Dingo. I'm just curious.

I didn't think JR got that big? Think maybe it could be another type of terrier mix?

It's not a Bull Terrier is it?

Do a Google Image Search for Bull Terrier...they can be brindle.

Yeah she's a little bigger than your average JR, but I figured that came from whatever she's mixed with, like maybe Pit Bull.

The main thing I was asking was, is there any such thing as a brindle Jack Russell?
