Crankbait setup question

What is the go to rod for bait cast crankbait fishing? Length, action, and so on. I always see people say you don't want to go too stiff. But, with the amount of rods on the market along with the different characteristics knowing which one to get can be somewhat confusing.

I love to crank and have gone through many different types of rods until I found the, "Perfect crankbait rod!" It is Kistler Micro Magnesium TS Crankbait Casting Rods

For an all purpose cranking rod this is the one. It has a forgiving tip, with a very strong backbone. I have thrown jerkbaits to deep divers with no problem. How many times have you had a bass jump and throw your bait on a crank? That will happen with stiffer rods. I have almost eliminated that with this rod. It has increased my catch ratio tremendously.
