Me and my dad are looking at Jon boats and the one I am looking at has. 9.5 hp engine how fast would that go and is that good or bad it's an outboard motor and it need a carbuerater clean how much would that cost thanks andrew

I think the first thing folks would need to provide you advice is: How big is the Jon boat? 9 , 10, 12, 15 foot?

How fast the boat will go is a matter of how much the people weigh that you will put into it and how much weight there is for all the gear you will carry.
