seeing things

yesterday at barren saw something[or didn't see it]. the lake was dead calm and while walking the pooch noticed a disturbance on the surface. Couldn't see anything but it almost looked like stripers herding, but no splashing. didn'tsee any merganserss or loons. Are there otters on barren? have never seen one anywhere.

Yes there are otters around Barren River Lake. I have seen several in the headwaters and a few immediately below the dam. I have not personally seen them in the lake itself, but have no doubt that they would be there also.

I'm still not sure what it was that I thought I saw.Maybe time to get out the binocculars
