Forum Runner iPhone App Instructions:
* Note: Forum Runner is a 3rd party app. They charge $1.99. Fishin.com does not make any money off the app. You can also use Forum Runner on a lot of other forums so it's probably good to have.
The following is written for the Apple App Store (Android should be similar)
1) Go to your App Store (Apple or Android)
2) On the bottom menu bar in the store select, search
3) In the search field at the top enter Forum Runner (with a space between Forum and Runner)
4) Download and install app. Once installed, open the app on your phone. This is how you will access the forum in the
future with Forum Runner. Go to the Forum Runner app first. The first time you open it, it will ask if you want to activate
push notifications. We’re not sure if this works yet. See more info below.
5) Select Forum Browser icon that looks like file cabinet.
6) Click Search on the bottom menu bar
7) Type in Fishin.com in search box and select after it loads.
8) Click the curved arrow in the top right corner and select Add to Favorites
9) Fishin.com will now display on your Forum Runner home screen.
That's a lot of steps but they are detailed and it is not that hard to do. Play around with it and see what you think.

Here are the main advantages I have seen to using the app:
~Easy to read and post on forums
~Photos can be easily uploaded from your phone…in your boat, car, wherever!
~You can send and receive private messages from your smart phone (and be alerted in push is activated in your phone
settings. I’m not sure exactly how the push notifications work yet, but I think it will be useful. It will send an alert to
your phone when you get a PM or reply from a subscribed thread. If your friends have Forum Runner on their phone, you
can PM each other while on the lake or wherever.

How to make a post from app:
1) Go to the board you want to make a post on.
2) Click the curved arrow in top right corner and select New Thread
3) Type in subject and message.
4) Click Send
Other Instructions:
1) If you want to add a photo, click the + button in top right corner
2) You can add photos from the web, your phone’s camera roll
3) If you want to post your location, click the + button in the top right corner and select Post My Location
How to enable Push Notifications:
1) On Forum Runner home screen, click Settings
2) Select Push Notification Settings
3) You will need to register an account with forum runner to enable push notifications
4) Turn On Create Account
5) Click Create Account
6) Hit Go
7) Forum Runner will then send you an email to verify and activate your account
